Bread is a delicious and versatile cooking recipe made with flour, water, yeast, and salt. It’s perfect for sharing with friends and family, whether to accompany a meal or to spread with butter and jam. Here’s the basic recipe for making bread at home.

Ingredients:

3 cups flour

1 cup warm water

1 teaspoon dry yeast

1 teaspoon salt

Preparation:

In a bowl, mix the flour, yeast, and salt. Add the warm water slowly and mix until you have a smooth and homogeneous dough.

Place the dough on a lightly floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes, until it is soft and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a damp cloth. Let the dough rest in a warm place for about 45 minutes, until it has doubled in size.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a bread pan and set aside.

Place the dough in the pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the bread is golden and sounds hollow when tapped.

Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool before serving. If you like, you can sprinkle a little flour on top before serving.
